Workshop on Critical Transitions

Critical transitions and nonautonomous bifurcations

24 August 2022 09:00 – 26 August 2022 17:00
Depicted the striking difference in the finite-time dynamics of an attractor-repeller pair between the autonomous (dotted lines) and nonautonomous (solid lines) versions of a toy-model when a parameter is varied.

The workshop "Critical transitions and nonautonomous bifurcations" will take place at the Science & Study Center of the Technical University Munich in Raitenhaslach from the 24th to 26th of August 2022.

The main focus of the meeting is on the relation between critical transitions in complex systems and nonautonomous bifurcation theory. The topics will range from mathematical theory of critical transitions to applications to nature, technology and society.

Registration for participation and contributed talks is open now. The workshop aims graduate students and higher. The registration form and information on the invited speakers and venue can be found on the workshop page Critical transitions and nonautonomous bifurcations.
