Professor Christian Kühn has been awarded an FSMP Distinguished Professor Fellowship. He is given the opportunity to work as a visiting professor at the Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu - Paris Rive Gauche for 3 months between August 2020 and March 2021. Congratulations!

The Foundation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris (FSMP) itself is an association of the top universities in Paris in the field of mathematics: CNRS, ENS, Sorbonne University (SU), Univ. Paris-Diderot, Collège de France, Inria, Paris-Dauphine, Paris-Descartes, Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Paris-Nord.
In principle, the visiting professorship programme is purely research-based. Professor Kühn was proposed for the Fellowship by a board of the FSMP.

Since 2016, Christian Kühn has been Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and holder of the Lichtenberg Professorship for Multi-Scale and Stochastic Dynamics funded by the Volkswagen Foundation.
