Accessibility Statement
The Technical University of Munich is committed to making its websites accessible, in accordance with Bayerische Verordnung über die elektronische Verwaltung und die barrierefreie Informationstechnik (BayEGovV).
This accessibility statement applies to www.ma.tum.de.
Compliance status
These websites are partially compliant with Bayerische Verordnung über die elektronische Verwaltung und die barrierefreie Informationstechnik (BayEGovV). The non-compliances and the exemptions are listed below.
Non-accessible content
- Partially missing alt attributes for images, tables, controls and layout graphics.
- Information in plain language and sign language is missing.
- There may be errors in the heading hierarchy or links may be incomprehensible.
- Not all pdf documents are accessible.
- There are currently no subtitles or transcriptions available for embedded videos.
- Content and functionality are partially lost when text is enlarged.
- Additional content that is faded in using pointer or keyboard focus does not always remain operable.
- Words and sections in other languages are not marked.
- Contrast of texts and controls may be insufficient.
- Faded-in content is only partially operable with keyboard - not all sections are skippable.
- Maps used for directions must be supplemented with directions in text form.
Reasons for inaccessible content
The web presence is currently undergoing a relaunch. A revision of the existing websites is therefore no longer useful.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
Many people at the Department of Mathematics work on these webpages, so errors are not entirely avoidable. Various content, such as file formats from office applications (PDF files), could not yet be generated barrier-free.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
The statement was last updated on 1 July 2021.
The assessment is based on a self-assessment.
