Orientientation phase

The decision for acceptance into TopMath will be made directly after the interview. Thus elite students of the new school year will be assured of their acceptance into TopMath months before the start of classes in October. This certainty should provide students with the opportunity to peacefully look for possible fields of research and to identify possible supervisors in their desired field. The full TopMath spectrum will be introduced in special seminars, and technical queries about these studies could be answered at an early stage through specific course guidance. We do our best to facilitate the transfer of applicants from other universities to the TUM.

All professors and assistant professors of the faculty of mathematics at TU München can be mentors as well as some professors of the faculty for informatics at TU München.

You can find information on mentoring here.
