Course Contents
The summer school was based on the book "Computational Homology" by Tomasz Kaczynski, Konstantin Mischaikow and Marian Mrozek (Springer, 2004). All participants received a copy of this book (which they were allowed to keep after the event) and were asked to study chapters 1, 2, 5 and 10 in advance
Lectures were be given by:

• Sarah Day  (The College of William and Mary, Virginia, USA),
• William D. Kalies  (Florida Atlantic University, USA),
• Konstantin Mischaikow  (Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA.)

In addition, there were computer laboratory sessions where students worked in small groups and gave a short presentation at the end of the week.
Social activities included a BBQ, an mountain excursion to the Kampenwand and a guided "culinary night watch" tour through Munich.

Documentation
All participants will receive a DVD with photographs and teaching material. A selection of pictures can be viewed online here.
