Study Programmes at the Mathematics FacultyAn overview of the different Degree Programs offered at the faculty can be found unter the following overview.Mathematical coursesA selection of mathematical courses available can be found in the module catalogue. Please keep in mind that nearly all undergraduate courses are given in German, even if you can find English descriptions in the catalogue. Each course is taught either in winter term or in summer term. As a general rule, you can assume that most courses offered within a Masters program can be taught in English. However, this sometimes depends on the professor. Furthermore you can look at TUMonline which is one of our information systems at TUM. It offers the possibility of searching for courses by semester and degree. You can select the academic department and then browse through the courses offered in the current term. Advice on how to find suitable courses and register for exams can be found on the webpage Course Selection and Registration.ApplicationDepending whether you are applying as a graduating or as non-degree exchange student (Erasmus, Laotse oder TUMExchange) the application process differs. They will provide you with useful information about your stay in Munich including tips on housing and accommodation and further administrative steps.Then your exchange coordinator Julia Cyllok from the Department of Mathematics will contact you before you arrive and help you with your course selection and general questions about your studies at the Mathematics Faculty. We provide a one-to-one tutor service for our exchange students, so that everyone has a TUM partner student for their support.
